Pencil Drawings

A couple of these were for fun, some were practice, some forensic work and one is my Mom.  It's funny that when I pick up a pencil I am most inclined to draw faces and when it comes to paint, I veer toward landscapes.  I guess you follow your parents far more than you think. My mom used to sit sketching in the choir box while she listened to the service, or later while she watched TV at night, drawing people.  If you flipped through the sketchbooks next to her chair you would see loads of faces, some you know--people like Tom Selleck or Dolly Parton & lots of politicians, because they tended to stay still on screen.  She said it helped her concentrate.  I think it calmed her nerves.
